A dynamic multi-disciplinary practice, at the forefront of fire engineering design, research, and risk management, is seeking a skilled Fire Engineer. Our commitment is to provide excellence in fire safety, ensuring every client receives a first-class service, regardless of project size.

Responsibilities:

  • Liaise closely with clients, contractors, developers, Clerk of Works, and other key stakeholders.
  • Undertake risk assessments in line with current legislation.
  • Advise clients on pragmatic, cost-effective solutions to mitigate risk where possible.
  • Assist in the growth, development, and structure of a small team, utilizing team leadership skills and experience.

Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years post-qualification experience (PQE).
  • Understanding of external wall risk assessments.
  • Proficient in conducting Type 1-4 Fire Risk Assessments (FRAs) and compartmentation surveys.
  • Experience with large and small refurbishment and recladding projects.
  • Knowledge of fire protection work.
  • Working towards professional qualifications such as MIFireE, MIFSM, C Build E MCABE, or CEng.
