A specialist fire consultancy in Hertfordshire is looking for a Fire Engineer to join their growing team of 10.
This is an opportunity for a ground-hitting Fire Engineer to deliver on a true range of properties including offices, public entertainment venues, shopping centres, schools, universities, hospitals, hotels, and residential developments.
The Fire Engineer's RoleThe successful Fire Engineer will be responsible for delivering tailored fire engineering solutions, ensuring compliance with UK regulations and best practices.
- Development of fire safety strategies for buildings
- Design of smoke control systems
- Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) modelling
- Structural fire protection analyses
- Advice on fire-resisting construction, compartmentation, and fire stopping
- Means of escape calculations
- A degree in Fire Engineering or a related discipline
- Experience in fire engineering consultancy or a similar role
- Knowledge of UK fire safety regulations and design principles
- Strong analytical skills and experience in CFD modelling and fire safety strategy development
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Full Uk driving license (This role will include nationwide travel)
- £50,000 - £70,000
- 25 Days annual leave + Bank holidays
