We are recruiting for a Construction Contracts Manager to join a well-established, close-knit contractors based on the outskirts of St. Albans.
As a Construction Contracts Manager, you will manage multiple flooring projects from initiation to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget and to the highest standards. This role involves close coordination with clients, suppliers and fitters to manage labour arrangements, materials and project documentation.

Key responsibilities:
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Daily site management for multiple flooring projects from start to finish, ensuring seamless execution and timely completion, once trained.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Arrange and coordinate labour with clients and fitters, managing project schedules and ensuring labour availability.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Monitor and manage material schedules and deliveries, ensuring all materials arrive on-site to meet project timelines and specifications.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Accurately price and measure for tender projects, coordinating with the estimating team as necessary.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Continuously monitor project costs, making adjustments as needed to stay within budget.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Conducting site and drawing measurements.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Update project documentation promptly upon completion of work to ensure accurate record-keeping.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Maintain organised and up-to-date records of project details, including scope changes, site instructions and completion reports.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, attending regular meetings to discuss project progress, timelines and any issues.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Liaise with clients to ensure project schedules are met, addressing any challenges that arise during project execution.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Review project contracts to understand required works, identifying where site instructions or changes may be necessary.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, safety regulations and company quality standards.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Assist with customer care cases post-project ensuring a positive client experience.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Review and manage project snags, coordinating with fitters to ensure timely rectification of any outstanding issues.
What the employer is looking for:
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 3+ years in a Contracts Manager role, preferably within the flooring or construction industry.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Proficiency in reading and interpreting contracts, project specifications and tender documents.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ability to conduct measurements and estimate materials accurately.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Exceptional organisational skills with an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with experience in client-facing roles.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Strong problem-solving ability, particularly in managing onsite issues and client concerns.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ability to work collaboratively with clients, fitters and internal teams to achieve project goals.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Driving licence is required as they are located where there are no reliable public transport links
