Bim Coordinator

Involve Recruitment are in search of an experienced BIM Manager to lead our Building Information Modelling initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various design software and demonstrate exceptional project management skills. As a BIM Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of BIM processes, ensuring that all projects are delivered efficiently and effectively while maintaining high standards of quality.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement BIM strategies and workflows for project delivery.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of BIM across all phases of design and construction.
• Manage the creation and maintenance of 3D models using software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and NavisWorks.
• Provide training and support to team members on BIM tools and best practices.
• Conduct regular reviews of models to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for improving project efficiency through the use of BIM technology.
• Prepare detailed schematics and documentation for project presentations and submissions.

Skills

• Proficiency in BIM software including Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, NavisWorks, Civil 3D, SolidWorks, and Sketchup is essential.
• Strong understanding of building design principles and construction processes.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Effective communication skills to liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors.
• Problem-solving mindset with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also demonstrating leadership capabilities.
