We are seeking a forward thinking and operational HR professional to come and work for a top player within the FMCG industry. As part of their growth and change plans, they are now looking for an energetic and hands-on HR Shared Service Advisor who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is excited to make a difference.

As the HR Shared Service Advisor, you’ll be at the core of their HR operations, providing proactive support and guidance across the business. You’ll need to bring a strong sense of ownership to your work, be unafraid to challenge norms when necessary, and possess the inquisitiveness to seek out solutions in a dynamic environment. This role is ideal for someone looking to develop their HR expertise while working closely with a passionate, forward-thinking team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide efficient and effective HR support to managers and employees, responding to inquiries on a wide range of HR issues from employee lifecycle processes to policy advice.

  • Take a confident, assertive approach when offering solutions or challenging existing processes to ensure best practices are met. Encourage a mindset of continuous improvement within the HR function and across teams.

  • Oversee end-to-end processes within the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, contract management, benefits administration, and payroll support, ensuring a seamless experience for all employees.

  • Leverage HR data to identify trends, improve processes, and provide actionable insights. Use analytics to support business recommendations and contribute to workforce planning.

  • Take an inquisitive approach to HR processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing streamlined solutions. Collaborate with HR colleagues to support broader initiatives and projects.

Profile:You are a resilient HR professional with a “can-do” attitude who works well under pressure and thrives in a fast-paced environment. With your natural curiosity and strong communication skills, you enjoy problem-solving and aren’t afraid to ask the hard questions. You have:

  • Strong experience in HR, ideally within a shared services environment in FMCG or similar industries.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to juggle multiple tasks with high attention to detail.
  • Confidence to challenge the status quo where needed and suggest innovative, practical solutions.
  • A data-driven mindset, with the ability to interpret HR metrics and influence business decisions.
