Key responsibilities for a Senior Estimator

  • Take ownership of the Repair and Maintenance division, driving it forward with ambition and precision.
  • Estimate and tender for new projects, ensuring high standards and competitive submissions.
  • Manage on-site subcontractors, monitor staff performance, and oversee project timelines.
  • Source and order specialist materials, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with project requirements.
  • Conduct regular site visits to ensure smooth project execution and adherence to schedules.
  • Produce method statements, agree on material lists, and prepare comprehensive progress reports.
  • Address and resolve any issues with clients or team members, escalating to senior management as needed.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, fostering trust and repeat business opportunities.

Key skills for a Senior Estimator
