We are currently recruiting for a Catering & Events Operations Manager for a fully commercial Catering & Events led venue located near St. Albans, Hertfordshire. The catering operation operates 364 days a year and comprises two 'all day dining' cafe restaurants, retail kiosks and a wide range of events spaces and facilities.
This is a senior 'operations led' role within the organisation, one of 3 senior Managers, reporting directly to the Director of Operations, and will be fully responsible for both the long term strategic direction, and the day to day running of the Catering & Events department, ensuring full compliance with both Food safety and Health & safety.
Our client is therefore looking to appoint an experienced Catering & Events Operations Manager, who is able to demonstrate a stable and progressive background to their current role as a Catering & Events Operations Manager, gained in high volume, multi-faceted and multi-outlet Catering and Events led venues.
This is very much a 'hands-on' face of the business role, managing a flexible workforce of up to 40 staff during peak periods. The successful candidate for the role of Catering & Events Operations Manager will work 5/7 days on a rota basis, between 9am and 6pm.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Catering & Events Operations Manager to join current established senior management team, and play a key role in the long term development and success of the venue. This role is to start from mid January 2025.
