Finance Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage weekly reporting for the UK and Europe, enhancing reporting systems and providing deeper analysis.
  • Conduct month-end variance analyses to identify budget discrepancies and recommend improvements.
  • Guide club teams in interpreting and applying data for better decision-making.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to internal stakeholders.
  • Support the development and maintenance of workforce management systems.
  • Provide training and troubleshooting support to ensure effective tool usage.
  • Contribute to the budget and forecasting processes, taking ownership of key cost lines and refining budget models.
  • Measurable efficiency improvements and controlled year-on-year cost growth.
  • Clear and accurate cost reporting to enhance organisational understanding.
  • Reduction in payroll variance with a compressed league table of results.

Experience:

  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive key initiatives across the business.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, supported by an accounting qualification (Part-Qualified or Fully Qualified).
  • Excellent multitasking abilities to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication skills to input complex data into clear insights.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas).
  • Experience with Power BI.
