Finance Analyst
St. Albans
Up to £55,000 per annum
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage weekly reporting for the UK and Europe, enhancing reporting systems and providing deeper analysis.
- Conduct month-end variance analyses to identify budget discrepancies and recommend improvements.
- Guide club teams in interpreting and applying data for better decision-making.
- Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to internal stakeholders.
- Support the development and maintenance of workforce management systems.
- Provide training and troubleshooting support to ensure effective tool usage.
- Contribute to the budget and forecasting processes, taking ownership of key cost lines and refining budget models.
- Measurable efficiency improvements and controlled year-on-year cost growth.
- Clear and accurate cost reporting to enhance organisational understanding.
- Reduction in payroll variance with a compressed league table of results.
Experience:
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive key initiatives across the business.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills, supported by an accounting qualification (Part-Qualified or Fully Qualified).
- Excellent multitasking abilities to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
- Exceptional communication skills to input complex data into clear insights.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas).
- Experience with Power BI.
