Our client are a well respected Steel provider providing Steel Beams to contractors, house builders, housing associations, and end users.
The hours for this position are 7:30am-5pm Monday to Thursday, 6:30am-4pm Friday, and alternative Saturday mornings 8am-12pm
We have an exciting opportunity for a General Operative to join the business. The job responsibilities are as follows:
Key Accountabilities:
- Carry out painting of steel beams
- Operating tools and machinery - Training will be provided for this
- Cleaning tools, equipment and work areas
- Wearing safety clothing and using protective equipment
- Be vigilant and report any Health & Safety issues to the Line Manager immediately
Candidate Requirements:
- A positive & approachable attitude
- A passion to carry out physical labour tasks
- The desire to work in all weather conditions
- Great punctuality and reliability
- Operated overhead cranes (desirable)
- Operated forklift trucks (highly desirable)
