Our client is a £500m turnover business with offices across the UK. We are looking for a Carbon & Net Zero Manager to ensure the organisation meets its commitments to Net Zero projects for its clients along with its own strategic Decarbonisation and Net Zero commitments. Carbon & Net Zero Manager Roles & Responsibilities:
- Ensuring reporting of energy performance in line with governance, legislative requirements, and commitments.
- Providing energy and carbon data in line with corporate reporting requirements, including calculation and reporting of Scope 1,2 & 3 carbon emissions.
- Working closely with Procurement team to advise on new opportunities to decarbonise within our supply chain, ensuring these requirements and targets are clearly referenced in contract documents.
- Developing and implementing Decarbonisation/Net Zero strategy and routemaps towards the delivery of the sustainability strategy. Ensuring milestones and objectives are achieved and reporting on progress to senior key stakeholders.
Carbon & Net Zero Manager expérience required:
- A degree (or equivalent) in Environment & Sustainability related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years relevant industry experience
- Member of relevant professional body (e.g. IEMA)
- Experience with Life Cycle Analysis Software and producing WLCA Stage 4 and Stage 6 Reports (Preferably One Click LCA)
- Ability to undertake project planning, project management and work to budgets
