We are currently recruiting for a Homeless Hub Manager for a successful Housing Association in St Albans.
We are looking for individuals who have experience supporting people who are experiencing homelessness, from the streets and into more permanent accommodation.
About the role
Reporting to the Operations Manager, and you will lead a team and be responsible for overseeing support, advice and assistance to people who are/have been living on the streets.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Knowledge of relevant legislation in relation to homelessness, housing and the equality's act
- Understanding of the multiple and complex needs experienced by homeless people
- Previous experience of working in services for people experiencing homelessness and complex needs.
- Previous experience of leading a team.
This service consists of 10 self-contained accommodation units for people who have recently come off the streets, and 12 self-contained units for those who are ready for permanent accommodation.
This role is a permanent opportunity, Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week, core hours are 10am - 4pm, with parking on site.
