We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Lead Generation Executive to join a leading and expanding food producer & supplier company based in St Albans.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive, commercially driven individual who is passionate about the food sector and has a proven track record in driving business growth. The ideal candidate will have strong networking and negotiation skills, experience in developing strategic partnerships, and a deep understanding of the food industry.

This role will be responsible for generating new business leads, researching prospective clients and opening the door for new business. You will build a pipeline of potential clients and work with the Sales Director to turn these into lasting relationships.

About you:

Proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar role within the food industry.
Demonstrable success in achieving sales targets and driving growth.
In-depth knowledge of the food industry, including market trends, customer behaviour, and the regulatory environment.
Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data and translate insights into strategic actions.
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.

The salary for this position is up to 55,000 DOE + performance related bonus and other benefits.

The working hours for this role are Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5pm, Friday 8am to 4.30pm - office based.
