WHAT WILL I DO?
A suitable applicant is someone who can answer that question with detail and clarity. Generally, you will assist advisers in the delivery of the financial advice lifecycle through:
- Preparation for client meetings and post-meeting documentation
- Preparation and maintenance of client files
- Preparation of recommendations and suitability reports
- Implementing agreed recommendations

WHAT SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE DO I NEED?
We have high expectations, so the following are compulsory:
- Minimum of 3 Level 4 CII equivalent qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience within a paraplanning or similar role
- Ability to comply with defined business processes
- Ability to achieve agreed outcomes without supervision
- Very high attention to detail and strong accuracy - ability to get it right first time
- Articulate, logical & analytical
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Ability to acquire, update and apply new skills and knowledge
- Fully competent in desktop applications (proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Professional integrity
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR?
The ideal candidate is passionate about financial planning and customer delivery. Ideally you are currently doing a similar role and have been for at least the last 2 years. You are at least part qualified at Level 4. You must be motivated to build a successful career in Wealth Management. Key qualities include:
- High attention to detail
- Relevant industry experience within an IFA or Wealth Management firm
- Excellent communication, organisational, and analytical skills
- A proactive attitude and commitment to learning & development
- A genuine interest in ensuring the business can deliver high quality, professional outcomes for clients
WHAT IS THE SALARY AND HOURS?
In addition to the benefits stated above your starting salary will be based on experience and potential within the range of £35,000 to £45,000. We will review your contribution to the success of the business annually and reward accordingly. We offer you the chance to grow and develop and become a brilliant paraplanner.
Monday to Friday 09:00 to 17:30 with 1 hour lunch break
