My client, a well established company are currently recruiting for an Outbound Telesales Agent. The Telesales role involves cold calling, generating new business, scheduling sales appointments and general database management.
Telesales Job Summary:
- Generate new business opportunities through cold calling
- Create and maintain a new database of prospects that fit our customer profile
- Work closely with the sales team to achieve targets
- Progression available within the company and develop sales skills and knowledge
- Attending events and webinars
Telesales Responsibilities:
- Research and identify decision makers of potential prospects that match our target client profiles
- Make outbound cold calls to create a pipeline of prospects and introduce our services
- Determining if the prospect has a valid need for the company’s products and services
- Progress cold calls into qualified leads and book appointments for the sales team
- Follow up with prospects and maintain a record of all contacts and outcomes
- Update and manage the system with accurate and relevant information on all prospects
- Meet and exceed your monthly targets for calls, leads, and appointments
- Provide status information to your manager including forecast/pipeline information
- Provide feedback and suggestions to improve the cold calling process and strategy
Telesales Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to persuade and influence decision-makers
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to handle rejection and objections
- Proficient in using MS Office and CRM software
- Strong planning, administration, and organisational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
