  • Travel: As required - Minimum twice a month throughout the UK
  • Reporting to: Talent & Development Manager
  • Hybrid - 3 days office / 2 days home
  • Salary £38,500 - £40,000pa

About the role:

Are you passionate about learning and development? We’re looking for a Talent and Development Specialist to drive training initiatives, onboarding, and employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

Induction & Onboarding: Own and facilitate the weekly Induction programme, ensuring smooth onboarding for new starters.

Soft Skills Training: Lead internal workshops, including content creation and delivery. Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships across the business to identify and support training needs.

Employee Recognition: Manage the Employee of the Quarter/Year awards, including communication and coordination with leadership.

Training Needs Analysis: Support quarterly reviews to assess business development requirements.

Additional Duties:

  • Oversee LinkedIn Learning licenses, support talent initiatives, and contribute to wider development projects.
  • Talent projects - talent mapping and succession planning, tailored projects to add value to the talent agenda.

Key Skills:

  • Confident in facilitating both virtual and in-person learning.
  • Strong IT skills (Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams, databases).
  • Experience in a training environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
  • Experience in IT distribution or technology sector.
  • Ability to be assertive, resilient, and adaptable under pressure.
  • A self-starter with a positive, problem-solving mindset.
