Main responsibilities:

  • Coding and processing of purchase invoices, matching to purchase orders where applicable.
  • Set up of new supplier accounts, ensuring all details confirmed
  • Monthly reconciliation of supplier accounts.
  • Maintain subcontractor Insurance records
  • Working with the buying team to resolve supplier queries and disputes.
  • Monthly aged creditor review.
  • Liaising with managers responsible for invoice authorisation.
  • Preparation of supplier and subcontractor payment runs.
  • Processing of online payments through the banking portal.
  • Processing of employee expenses and corporate credit cards.
  • Daily monitoring of the accounts inbox.
  • Posting of cashbook entries and reconciliation of bank accounts.
  • Ad-hoc work to support the wider team.

Key Requirements:

  • Knowledge/experience of working in a similar finance role.
  • Strong understanding and experience of all AP processes and best practice.
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines and strive for results.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Excel
  • Ability to work well within a team and individually.
