We’r on the hunt for a driven and innovative content writer to join our laboratory and life science division based in St. Albans, Hertfordshire. Established in 1974, International Labmate has been at the forefront of scientific communication, producing trade magazines, e-newsletters, websites, webinars, and top-tier conferences and exhibitions for the life sciences community.

What you’ll do:

As a valued member of the Labmate team, you’ll lead the way in producing impactful articles, interviews, and content pieces that resonate with the scientific community. You will be producing content for our Laboratory journals, newsletters and website site, covering trends and research for scientists in laboratories and the life science industry.

You’ll take the reins on projects from start to finish - brainstorming, drafting, developing, and polishing content. Your role will be hands-on and varied, involving research, collaboration, and creativity to produce high-quality written and visual content.

Responsibilities:

  • Dive into research to create engaging written and video content like educational articles, interviews, and web features.

  • Stay on top of scientific trends and adapt your writing to ensure SEO optimisation and reader engagement.
  • Cultivate connections with scientists, clients, and our Labmate sales team to bring authentic industry voices into our work.
