Senior Property Litigation Solicitor - Dispute Resolution TeamLocation: Hybrid (St Albans, UK)Salary: Competitive, based on experienceContract: Full-time, PermanentThe OpportunityAn established and growing law firm is seeking an experienced Senior Property Litigation Solicitor (7+ years PQE) to join its Dispute Resolution Team. This role offers the chance to work on complex commercial and residential property disputes while playing a key part in business development and team growth.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience handling landlord and tenant disputes, boundary issues, leasehold enfranchisement, and property rights matters. A proven track record of generating work, building relationships, and supervising junior lawyers is essential.The RoleThe successful candidate will manage a varied caseload, including:

  • Commercial landlord and tenant disputes, such as 1954 Act claims, terminal dilapidations, lease renewals, and forfeiture.
  • Property litigation, including possession and sale claims, boundary disputes, adverse possession, and rights of way disputes.
  • Statutory lease extensions, collective enfranchisement, and right of first refusal cases.
  • Business development, strengthening relationships with existing clients and referrers while bringing in new work.
  • Supervising and mentoring junior team members.

Candidate Requirements

  • 7+ years PQE in property litigation.
  • Proven ability to develop business and generate new work.
  • Strong technical knowledge and experience in commercial and residential property disputes.
  • Experience in supervising and managing junior lawyers.
  • Commercially astute with a client-focused approach.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Professional, confident, and capable of developing strong client and referrer relationships.
  • Good IT skills.
