A vacancy has arisen to join a successful St Albans law firm, reporting to the Head of Property.
About you:
You will have a minimum of two years’ experience in a law firm and have dealt with Sales and Purchase Residential Conveyancing Transactions, be exceptionally organised and methodical and ready to hit the ground running.
The role:
- Ability to deal with Sale & Purchase Transactions (with Fee Earners guidance)
- Draft and send out Contract Packs
- Order Freehold/Leasehold Management Packs
- Correspond with Management Companies
- Provide updates to estate agents and clients as required
- Order Redemption Statements
- Assist clients with and reply to enquiries raised
- Exchange Contracts
- Draft Completion Statements
- Attend to completion
- Order Searches
- Review Mortgage Offers
- Review replies to enquiries
- Provide updates to estate agents and clients as required
- Draft Transfer Deeds
- Draft Deed of Covenant
- Carry out pre-exchange searches (priority and bankruptcy)
- Exchange contracts
- Submit Certificates of Title to Lenders
- Draft Completion Statements
- Attend to completion
- Ability to deal with post completion matters where required
