Think Specialist Recruitment are delighted to be working with a leading organisation based in the St Albans area. This successful and growing company have an exciting newly created position for an Operations Supervisor to join their team. This opportunity would suit someone who has come from a similar background, preferably within the retail industry, looking for an exciting opportunity to grow the position and further develop within their career. This company operate within an exciting industry, they work fully on site, and this person will be required to occasionally travel to a midlands based Warehouse, and sometimes Germany too. Salary - £45,000 - £50,000 plus great benefits including gym membership after probation, private medical, free parking, and company pension. Some of the duties will include:

  • Supervising the production, warehouse and shipping teams
  • Providing support to the Production and Supply Chain Manager
  • Weekly travel to UK based warehouse (Midlands), and some travel to warehouse based in Germany
  • Ensuring the business has inventory to fulfil demand
  • Working with factories on all PO placement and management
  • Managing stock levels of finished goods
  • Overseeing the wholesale orders
  • Manage purchasing, transport, warehouse and distribution
  • Drive communications between departments
