We are seeking an experienced and passionate Food and Beverage Manager to lead our restaurant, bar, lounge, room service, and conference and events operations. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a high-end, guest-focused environment and can manage both day-to-day service and strategic planning.
Key ResponsibilitiesOversee the daily operations of all food and beverage outlets (restaurant, bar, lounge, events).
Lead, train, and motivate the F&B team to deliver exceptional service.
Ensure all guest experiences meet the high standards of St Michaels Manor.
Work closely with the Head Chef to plan menus and ensure smooth kitchen coordination.
Maintain and monitor food and beverage cost controls, budgets, and stock levels.
Manage staff rotas, recruitment, and performance evaluations.
Uphold health, safety, and hygiene standards in all areas.
Collaborate with the events team for weddings, private dining, and corporate bookings.
Respond to guest feedback and handle any service recovery with professionalism.
Report on financial performance, team development, and operational improvements to senior management.
Proven experience in a similar role within a 4- or 5-star hotel or fine dining environment.
Strong leadership, communication, and people-management skills.
Excellent knowledge of food, wine, and bar service.
Budgeting and cost control experience essential.
Passionate about delivering high levels of guest satisfaction.
Flexible, hands-on, and proactive approach.
Knowledge of hotel POS and reservation systems
Personal licence holder preferred, but not essential.
