We are seeking an experienced and passionate Food and Beverage Manager to lead our restaurant, bar, lounge, room service, and conference and events operations. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a high-end, guest-focused environment and can manage both day-to-day service and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operations of all food and beverage outlets (restaurant, bar, lounge, events).

  • Lead, train, and motivate the F&B team to deliver exceptional service.

  • Ensure all guest experiences meet the high standards of St Michaels Manor.

  • Work closely with the Head Chef to plan menus and ensure smooth kitchen coordination.

  • Maintain and monitor food and beverage cost controls, budgets, and stock levels.

  • Manage staff rotas, recruitment, and performance evaluations.

  • Uphold health, safety, and hygiene standards in all areas.

  • Collaborate with the events team for weddings, private dining, and corporate bookings.

  • Respond to guest feedback and handle any service recovery with professionalism.

  • Report on financial performance, team development, and operational improvements to senior management.

Skills & Experience Required
  • Proven experience in a similar role within a 4- or 5-star hotel or fine dining environment.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and people-management skills.

  • Excellent knowledge of food, wine, and bar service.

  • Budgeting and cost control experience essential.

  • Passionate about delivering high levels of guest satisfaction.

  • Flexible, hands-on, and proactive approach.

  • Knowledge of hotel POS and reservation systems

  • Personal licence holder preferred, but not essential.
