Assembly Fabricator Apprentice- £24,570– St Albans

The Role

We are the UK’s specialist provider of secondary glazing, looking to appoint an enthusiastic and hard-working Assembly Fabricator Apprentice to our growing team.

Over 18 months, you will:

  • Learn to produce and assemble our products.
  • Operate light machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Read and interpret work orders and technical drawings.
  • Complete an NVQ Level 2 Fenestration Fabricator Apprenticeship to develop your knowledge and skills.

This is a permanent position, with long-term career opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble secondary glazing products to high standards.
  • Follow detailed instructions and technical drawings.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet production targets.

The Company

Founded in 1966, Selectaglaze is the UK’s specialist provider of secondary glazing. Testament to the quality of product, service and knowledge, Selectaglaze was awarded a Royal Warrant in 2004. We supply and fit our products in some of the country’s most prestigious buildings. We have been able to continuously develop our products to meet changing needs – eg noise reduction, heat retention and safety.

The Person

  • GCSEs in Maths & English (Grade C/4 or above).
  • Good communication and organisational skills.
  • The ability to use hand tools.
  • A clean driving licence is a plus.
  • Trustworthy, with a can-do attitude,
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Flexible.
  • Eager to build a career in Secondary Glazing.
