Music Teacher - Summer Term 2025

We are seeking a creative Music Teacher to work in a wonderful school in St. Albans. This position is open to qualified Teachers or experienced music practitioners and will be remunerated accordingly. The ideal candidate will have a passion for music, working with children, and making a difference in children's lives.

This is a part-time role, working 4 days a week with children from Reception to Year 6. Additionally, this is a temp-to-perm opportunity. Starting May 2025 for the summer term.

The role:

Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment conducive to musical exploration and expression
Encourage students to express themselves creatively through music
Deliver Engaging Lessons: Plan, prepare, and deliver creative and engaging lessons tailored to the needs of pupils.
Regularly evaluate student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt teaching strategies to ensure individual learning goals are met.
Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages respect, collaboration, and a love of learning.

Requirements:

Available Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm.
Able to start immediately as a Music Teacher
DBS checked or willing to apply for one.
Experience working with children in the UK.
Live in the St. Albans area or able to commute to the area.
