Music Teacher - Summer Term 2025
We are seeking a creative Music Teacher to work in a wonderful school in St. Albans. This position is open to qualified Teachers or experienced music practitioners and will be remunerated accordingly. The ideal candidate will have a passion for music, working with children, and making a difference in children's lives.
This is a part-time role, working 4 days a week with children from Reception to Year 6. Additionally, this is a temp-to-perm opportunity. Starting May 2025 for the summer term.
The role:
- Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment conducive to musical exploration and expression
- Encourage students to express themselves creatively through music
- Deliver Engaging Lessons: Plan, prepare, and deliver creative and engaging lessons tailored to the needs of pupils.
- Regularly evaluate student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt teaching strategies to ensure individual learning goals are met.
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages respect, collaboration, and a love of learning.
Requirements:
- Available Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm.
- Able to start immediately as a Music Teacher
- DBS checked or willing to apply for one.
- Experience working with children in the UK.
- Live in the St. Albans area or able to commute to the area.
