BettingJobs is currently working with an established sports betting company based in St Albans who are seeking a Junior Tennis Trader to join their team. As a Junior Tennis Trader, you will be responsible for pricing and trading tennis matches and use your expert knowledge to handle tennis related queries.
The Junior Tennis Trader role would suit an individual with a degree in a quantitative subject who has a strong interest and extensive knowledge of tennis.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting pricing and trading for tennis matches.
- Creating the best possible level of tennis trading service by releasing prices early and keeping in-play markets live wherever possible.
- Handling escalated queries that come in on your event/sport.
- Creating the most accurate prices possible and optimizing the bet value to revenue conversion rates by using the best possible pricing and trading techniques.
- Monitoring liabilities and moving prices based on shrewd client trades and competitor market moves.
- Accurately building and settling markets and booking telephone bets, ensuring mistakes are kept to a minimum.
Requirements:
- Hold a degree preferably in a quantitative subject.
- Be passionate about Tennis and have strong knowledge in all aspects of the sport.
- Work to a very high level and remain calm in a pressured environment.
- Strong numerical skills with a sharp betting/trading brain.
- Have an interest in betting markets.
- Be prepared to work early/late/night shifts to tie in with when the live Tennis matches are taking place.
