Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated labourer to join our team. As a labourer, you will play a crucial role in assisting with various construction and maintenance projects. The ideal candidate will be a hardworking individual with a strong work ethic and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Duties:
- Execute physical labour tasks under the guidance of the supervisor
- Load and unload materials and equipment efficiently
- Contribute to the setup and clean-up of job sites
- Adhere to safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at work sites
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve project goals
Experience:
- Prior experience in a labour-intensive position is advantageous
- Proficiency in following instructions accurately and working autonomously or in a team setting
- Demonstrated strong work ethic and eagerness to acquire new skills
- Physical stamina with the capability to lift heavy objects
- Familiarity with basic hand and power tools is beneficial
Job Type: Short-term
Pay: £14.44 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Thursday & Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- St Albans: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- Construction: 1 year (required)
Licence/Certification:
- CSCS (required)
