Labourer

Our client a Surrey based boutique Main Contractor are currently looking for an experienced Labourer to compliment their site team on one of their projects in St Albans, Hertfordshire.

The work itself is the strip out and refurbishment of a commercial property.

It is essential that you hold a CSCS card and can provide recent work references for similar work undertook.

Duties Will Include:

• Ripping up old flooring
• Assisting with the erection, placement and handling of steels on site.
• Perform general labour tasks such as loading and unloading materials.
• Assist skilled tradespeople in their duties, providing support as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Follow all health and safety regulations to minimise risks on-site.
• Operate basic machinery or tools under supervision when required.

Skills

• Strong physical fitness and stamina for manual labour tasks.
• Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively as part of a team.
• Good communication skills to interact with colleagues and supervisors.
• Basic knowledge of health and safety practices in a construction or industrial environment is advantageous.
• Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
• Experience with hand tools or machinery is a plus but not essential.

This is an immediate start for the right candidate for a minimum of 3 weeks, should you work hard and impress you could be kept on for the duration of the project.
