Plasterer

We are seeking a skilled Plasterer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plastering and related construction trades, with the ability to work on various projects including residential and commercial properties. As a Plasterer, you will be responsible for applying plaster to walls and ceilings, ensuring a smooth and professional finish. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.

Duties
- Prepare surfaces for plastering by cleaning, repairing, and applying bonding agents as necessary.
- Mix plaster ingredients according to specifications for optimal consistency and application.
- Apply plaster using hand tools and power tools, ensuring an even coat across surfaces.
- Finish plastered surfaces to achieve a smooth appearance, ready for painting or decorating.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople such as carpenters and bricklayers to ensure project timelines are met.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Inspect completed work for quality assurance and make necessary adjustments as needed.

Experience
- Proven experience in plastering or a related field is essential.
- Familiarity with masonry techniques and the use of hand tools is highly desirable.
- Experience using power tools safely and effectively in construction settings.
- Knowledge of roofing practices may be beneficial for specific projects.
- Previous experience in welding is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Strong understanding of building materials and construction methods related to plastering is required.
