The Role:
As Head of People, you will be a key member of the leadership team, responsible for developing and executing the people strategy that aligns with the companys goals. You will lead the HR function, foster a positive workplace culture, and ensure the organisation attracts, develops, and retains great talent.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement a comprehensive people strategy to support business objectives.
Lead and develop the HR team, ensuring delivery of high-quality services across recruitment, employee relations, learning and development, and compliance.
Champion a positive and inclusive workplace culture that drives employee engagement.
Partner with senior leaders to provide strategic HR advice and support.
Oversee performance management, succession planning, and talent development initiatives.
Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, maintaining HR best practices.
Analyse HR data and metrics to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
About You:
To excel in this role, you should bring:
Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role, ideally as Head of People or HR Director.
Strong knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and organizational development.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
Strategic thinking with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
A track record of driving cultural and organisational change.
CIPD qualification or equivalent is highly desirable.
