The Category Manager will oversee strategic sourcing and comprehensive management of various product ranges. As part of a dynamic team, the individual will proactively create product assortments, customise solutions for customers, and enjoy the autonomy to drive innovation.
Category Manager Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic sourcing and category management for designated product lines.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize growth within the categories.
- Build strong relationships with suppliers and partners to maintain a commercial focus and ensure compliance with operating terms.
- Manage all aspects of the range plan, from sourcing to contracting and supporting processes.
- Define and execute promotional strategies to enhance product visibility and sales.
About You:
- Proven experience in a similar role within retail or category management.
- Background in an FMCG/Food environment is advantageous.
- Strong leadership and management capabilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- A passion for products, combined with a solid understanding of commercial principles.
