The Company

You will be joining a reputable hire company who work with various industries throughout the UK, supplying a range of market leading plant equipment. Due to their ongoing success, they are seeking a workshop engineer to join their team at one of their prestigious depots. 

Responsibilities of the Workshop Engineer to include:

  • You will be working in a busy workshop, maintaining and serving plant machinery such as diggers, rollers, excavators and dumpers.
  • You will ensure all equipment is safe and ready to go back out for hire
  • Carry out tasks in compliance with health and safety procedures
  • You will be working within an engineering team as well as on your own.

It would be ideal that you have previously worked in positions such as Fitter, Workshop Engineer, Mechanic, Plant Engineer, Mobile Plant Fitter, Workshop Plant Fitter, Service Fitter, Service Engineer or Service Technician. You will ideally hold an NVQ or City and Guilds qualification in plant maintenance or similar. You will have previously worked on manufacturers such as JCB, Bomag, Volvo, Komatsu, Liebherr, CAT or similar.
