What is involved in the Account Manager role?

  • Management of existing and growing those existing accounts.
  • Development of the Commercial Plan for each customer.
  • Work closely with New Product Development and Business Development teams.
  • Getting into the detail to add the value and quality ensuring customer retention.
  • Working closely with the Development team to understand the detail around product development.
  • Regular updates with the Head of Sales on commercial progress re monthly, weekly KPI's.
  • Being in constant contact with the customers and acting on feedback correctly.

Your background needs to include:

  • Foodservice commercial experience, with strong account management.
  • Existing network in the foodservice sector.
  • The relationship skills and credibility to grow current accounts.
  • Ambitious with resilience and tenacity.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, able to devise trends and themes.
