Our client is a leading provider of specialist coating services across a range of sectors, including healthcare, education, commercial and hospitality. Their services range from specialist coatings and paints and hygienic wall claddings. On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Business Development Manager to drive growth and expand their market presence.

As Business Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in identifying and securing new business opportunities within the above-mentioned sectors and more. You will be responsible for building strong relationships with contractors, project managers, architects, and key decision-makers to promote our clients' services and products. Your goal will be to expand their client base, increase sales, and drive revenue growth while ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, architects, and other stakeholders.
  • Promote our clients' services and solutions.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competition, and potential areas for growth.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and quotations to prospective clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Achieve or exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall growth strategy of the company.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build our clients brand.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or a similar role within the construction or coatings industry is essential.
  • Strong network within the construction sector, with the ability to leverage contacts to drive business.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting sales targets and growing revenue.
  • Ability to work independently, with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required.
