Requirements:
- Qualified History Teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- Experience teaching History to Key Stage 3 and 4 students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Enthusiastic about education and committed to student success
- Ability to inspire and engage students
- Collaborative mindset, able to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in History or a related field
- PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) or equivalent teaching qualification
- Knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment requirements
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and inspiring History lessons to students from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5
- Foster a love for learning and curiosity about the past
- Support students in achieving their full potential
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
- Contribute to the school's inclusive and supportive environment
- Stay up to date with educational developments and attend relevant professional development opportunities
