Special Educational Needs Assistant - St Albans, Hertfordshire
Dunbar Education is recruiting SEN assistants for a school based in St Albans, Hertfordshire, offering both full-time and part-time positions to accommodate your availability.
Your Roles and Responsibilities
In this role you will:
- Provide tailored support to pupils with diverse SEN needs (ADHD, language and communication challenges, and behavioural needs)
- Work closely with teachers to implement individualised lesson plans
- Regularly assess and record pupil development
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages pupil engagement and confidence
What We’re looking for:
- Previous experience in supporting children with SEN in educational or care settings.
- An understanding of various SEN conditions and support techniques.
- Strong interpersonal abilities and communication skills
- Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (ideal)
