Role Responsibilities:

  • Work with the team to promote and support young people in leading a life of positive development by providing a safe and nurturing environment.

  • Ensure the day-to-day management is facilitated professionally and competently, supporting the Service Manager in providing the highest quality care.

  • Lead a team and collaborate with other professionals to provide therapeutic care and support tailored to each child.

  • Record events and observations, prepare progress reports, and implement care plans and records.

  • Act as a positive role model to colleagues and children, meeting their everyday living needs and developing trusting relationships that foster recovery, growth, and lasting change.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 12 months' experience or knowledge of child-centred, therapeutic models.

  • Excellent communication skills, naturally caring, flexible, and resilient.

  • Level 3 qualification in Caring for Children and Young People.

  • Ability to work flexibly, covering long day shifts, weekends, and sleep-ins.
