Here at Every Step Recruitment, Office Support, we are recruiting for a Supply Chain Executive on behalf of our Client in St. Albans. This is a part-time role, 30 hours per week, ideally over 4 days.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Managing incoming deliveries / imports - ensuring correct and accurate documents are received
- Managing outgoing shipments / exports - ensuring correct documents are completed
- Full compliance with the latest HMRC customs rules and regulations
- Dealing with availability queries relating to your category within agreed timescales
- Maintaining accurate records
- Creating strong relationships with suppliers and freight partners across the category
You will have the following skills and attributes:
- Previous experience in a supply chain role, dealing with import/export - essential
- Knowledge of customs procedures
- High level of understanding of end-to-end Supply Chain
- Demonstrable experience of working closely and effectively with suppliers and freight partners
- Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
- Proficient using MS Excel
