Role: Hire Controller
Location: St Albans
Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week
Salary: £12.50 - £14.00 an hour, weekly pay
An excellent opportunity has now arisen for a Hire Controller to join a fast paced, busy client based in St Albans
This is a Temporary position with the opportunity to go permanent. Immediate Start Available.
Duties of a Hire Controller:
- Provide excellent service to customers both face-to-face and over the phone, answering queries and offering advice on the best tools and equipment for their needs.
- Process hire orders, ensuring accurate documentation and the timely delivery and collection of tools and equipment.
- Keep track of inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and ensure equipment is well-maintained and ready for hire.
- Organise deliveries and collections, ensuring that all customer orders are fulfilled on time and to the highest standards.
- Ensure that all equipment is safe for use and complies with relevant health and safety regulations.
- Address any customer issues or concerns promptly, demonstrating a problem-solving attitude.
What we would like from you:
- Proven experience within Hire or similar industry
- Excellent communication skills; written and verbal
- Highly organised and strong attention to detail
- Administration and PC skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Full driving is preferred, due to location
