Join our team as a Hire Controller at our UK logistics and operations site in St Albans. As a global provider of high-quality temporary works solutions for major construction projects, we are looking for a motivated professional with a solid background in stock control, hire processes, and customer coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stock Control and Management: Oversee and maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing stock, ensuring proper handling, storage, and inventory checks. Identify and promptly resolve any stock discrepancies, shortages, or damages.
- Hire and Sale Coordination: Manage the hire and sale processes, from deliveries to returns, working closely with clients to ensure efficient scheduling and timely processing. Inspect returned equipment for any issues and maintain accurate records of all transactions in our system.
- Depot and Workflow Oversight: Supervise daily activities within the depot, ensuring the space remains clean, safe, and well-organized. Optimize the workflow for maximum efficiency and productivity.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure all depot operations strictly follow health and safety regulations, fostering a secure work environment.
