The Role

We’re looking for a Trainee Installer to join our installation team, delivering high-quality secondary glazing solutions for residential and commercial properties.
In this role, you’ll work alongside experienced professionals, learning everything from installation techniques to health and safety practices. With on-the-job training and enrolment in an NVQ Level 2 qualification, you’ll develop the skills and knowledge to become an independent and proficient installer.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation of secondary glazing units.
- Learn and apply installation techniques under expert guidance.
- Ensure installations meet company standards and customer expectations.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following health and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers.
The Company
Founded in 1966, Selectaglaze is the UK’s specialist provider of secondary glazing. Testament to the quality of product, service and knowledge, Selectaglaze was awarded a Royal Warrant in 2004. We supply and fit our products in some of the country’s most prestigious buildings. The Person
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has a valid driving licence (essential).
- Is willing to undergo DBS and Occupational Health checks.
- Is keen to learn and develop new skills.
- Works well both independently and in a team.
- Has basic knowledge of hand tools and measuring equipment.
- Carpentry skills are a bonus but not essential.
No prior experience is required – we provide full training!
