A growing, family run construction business is seeking a construction site logistics and warehouse manager to join their team.

Position Overview:As the Site Logistics and Warehouse Operative, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the deliveries on sites. This includes incoming deliveries from couriers; however, you will be required to collect orders and deliver to key sites too. You will be a big part of the team, and these responsibilities are paramount for the business to successfully provide and sell their products.

You will need to deliver an excellent customer service as you will liaise with the clients whilst supporting on their site. You will need to ensure materials are packaged well and not damaged and present the business well.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage incoming deliveries and coordinate outgoing shipments to customer sites.
  • Lifting, moving/shifting products.
  • Ensure that materials are of high quality and no damages have occurred in transit.
  • Allocate products efficiently to various sites as per customer requirements.
  • Be present during customer deliveries both onsite and in the company warehouse as required to ensure seamless operations. Van and fuel card provided for this.
  • Receive deliveries and organise goods within the warehouse between site visits, preparing goods for despatch.
  • Provide excellent communication to customers and couriers.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in logistics or warehouse management is preferred.
  • Strong organisational skills with a focus on detail and quality.
  • A dedicated mindset with a problem-solving approach.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • CSCS Card desirable, training will be provided if required.
  • Flexible hours - A typical working week is 40 hours, some days you will need to be on site for 6am but will be finished around 3-4pm.
