Interim Financial Controller

Your new companyNo 1 on site Financial Controller job working for a private equity owned manufacturing group.Your new roleReporting to the Group CFO, you'll manage and oversee the finance and accounting functions for the site. Duties will include:

• Managing and overseeing the finance and accounting function for the Division / business
• Support, assist, and, where necessary, deputise for Operations Director.
• Manage and review monthly management accounts and ensure timely circulation of Key Performance Indicators and variances against budget and forecasts, optimising information content.
• Control managed working capital and maximise cash generation
• Ensure that proper and adequate financial and business processes are in place to support the financial control of the business
• Work with Department Heads to provide measurement and monitoring of each department's performance, improvement initiatives by analysing daily/weekly data to ensure optimal shop floor performance, ensure costs do not exceed plan, and need to manage and protect margin targets
• Ensure provision of weekly manufacturing efficiency and
• Monitor and control of costs, ensuring costing system accuracy, ensure costs do not exceed plan, and need to manage and protect margin targets
• Mitigate risks and seek continual improvement of controls and reporting
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
• Weekly review of costs to manage and protect margin targets
