IT Service Desk Support Engineer – Job opportunityLocation: North Wales/Cheshire – LL17Onsite roleSalary: £27k - £35k plus a wide range of benefitsOur client is looking for an experienced IT Service Desk Support professional with solid 2nd line capability to join their team. The purpose of this role is to provide support for a variety of IT issues, support IT systems and equipment across multiple sites. The ideal person for this role will be customer focused, enjoy problem solving and have experience within IT service delivery. IT Support – skills & experience
  • Proven experience as an IT Support / 2nd Line / IT service desk / IT Helpdesk professional.
  • Administration and support experience with the latest Microsoft technologies including Windows Server (up to 2022), Windows (10, 11) OS, O365
  • Knowledge of core network fundamentals (TCP/IP, WAN, LAN, Wi-Fi)
  • Experience with Cloud servers, O365, Intune and SharePoint
IT Support role responsibilities
  • Provide 2nd line diagnosis and resolution for customer issues
  • IT service delivery projects
  • Involvement in projects such as software deployments and hardware upgrades for customers
  • Collaborate with other engineers to efficiently handle complex tickets and maintain high customer service standards
  • System monitoring tasks and checks for clients
  • Collaborate with the team to efficiently handle complex tickets and maintain high customer service standards
  • Work with customers to understand and resolve technical issues in a friendly and enthusiastic manner
