Remuneration: £26,000 - £28,000neg + bonuses Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package The role of the Internal Business Development Manager - Fixing Systems will involve:

  • Internal Business Development Manager role, selling a high end range of manufactured fixing & support systems
  • Most of your time will be spent selling into M&E contractors with a lesser focus on main & sub-contractors
  • Your main responsibility will be developing new business; prospecting sales leads and nurturing them to a point where they can be passed to the external sales team
  • Contacting lapsed/dormant accounts to redevelop spending relationships
  • Monitor ongoing projects to ensure no sales opportunities are missed
  • Dealing with all enquiries via telephone and email
  • Providing excellent customer service at all times
  • Dealing customers spending a minimum of £1,000 p/m
  • Offer technical support to clients, distributors and sales team

The ideal applicant will be Internal Business Development Manager - Fixing Systems with:

  • Must have 3+ years sales experience within construction
  • Experience selling fixings, fastenings, support systems, tools, plastic ducting systems or anything else related beneficial but not essential
  • Proactive, initiative, 'think on your feet’ approach
  • Excellent communication skills and a confident telephone manner
  • Ability to work as part of a team or autonomously
  • Highly organised with good time management and administrative skills
  • Computer and Microsoft Office literacy
