Part Time Executive Assistant - St. Austell / Hybrid - £30-35,000 FTE

Well Placed HR have been exclusively engaged by a new client, an established and highly successful FMCG manufacturing business trading throughout the UK and Europe. The business has tasked us with sourcing an experienced Executive Assistant/PA, a new role intended to support the company’s CEO. This is a permanent opportunity anticipated to operate on a part time arrangement of 20-25 hours per week (ideally working a reduced five day working week but open to discussion). The role will be principally based at the company’s headquarters close to St. Austell but with some potential for a hybrid working arrangement in the future.

Working closely alongside the company's CEO, the EA will assume ownership of a range of tasks to include diary and communications management, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, and assist in organising future travel events. Key responsibilities to include:

- Manage the CEOs email inbox, responding to emails on their behalf and delegating where required

- Full management of a shifting diary

- Project support for the CEO and board of directors

- Ensure events and meetings are synchronised and run flawlessly

- Record meeting minutes, circulate and follow up on actions

- Represent the business acting as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders

- Act as a liaison between the management team and various businesses, ensuring seamless communication

- Coordinate travel arrangements both official & personal with precision cost effectively

- Assume additional ad hoc responsibilities when required

The candidate we are searching for: A well organised and ultra-efficient individual, ideally possessing a minimum of 18 months of experience in a similar role i.e. Executive or Personal Assistant, Administration Manager or Operations Coordinator. The successful candidate will require excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. The company is technology focussed so good working knowledge of MS Office tools will be essential, as will be the aptitude to pick up new digital productivity tools. Whilst the role directly supports the CEO, this will be a visible role that works closely alongside colleagues from a multitude of departments so great team-working and interpersonal skills will be required.
