Pertemps, on behalf of our valued local government client, is looking for a Temporary Referral Coordinator to join their supported Housing team! Hours: Up to 37 per week (part-time options available)?? Salary: £13.81 per hour?? Contract: 4 weeks initally (24th Feb – 24th March 2025)Why This Role?As the first point of contact for referrals into the service, you'll be the friendly, supportive voice guiding individuals towards the help they need. You’ll be assessing, managing, and coordinating referrals, ensuring people get access to the right support at the right time.What You’ll Be Doing:? Welcoming & Supporting – Handling referrals via phone, email, and face-to-face, offering a warm and reassuring first impression.? Assessing & Allocating – Gathering key information, evaluating referrals, and working closely with Support Workers to ensure smooth allocation.? Communicating & Coordinating – Keeping in regular contact with customers, partner agencies, and colleagues to manage expectations and ensure a seamless process.? Data & Reporting – Collecting and preparing referral data to help improve service delivery.What We’re Looking For:?? Experience in supported housing or a similar role.?? Strong communication & people skills – you’ll be great at building trust and showing empathy.?? Knowledge of domestic abuse, mental health, substance/alcohol use, and homelessness is desirable.??
