Part Time Human Resources & Payroll Assistant - St. Austell - Circa: £25,000 FTE

They currently seek to recruit an HR & Payroll Assistant to work as part of an experienced finance and people management function. The role is offered as a permanent, part time contract to operate over a four day working week (to be discussed with shortlisted candidates), and will be based at the company's headquarters located in the St. Austell area.

This is a broad and varied opportunity that represents a great opportunity for a dynamic HR & Payroll Assistant who wants to develop a long term career in people management. In its initial form, the role will focus in the following areas:

- HR administration to include contract, handbook and general policy maintenance using company HR systems

- Administration of time and attendance systems

- Working with finance team to prepare payroll files and documentation

- Providing payroll guidance to line managers

- Act as a first line of contact for employee queries

- Produce and update employee documentation

- Collating staff timesheets

- Support people management team with training and development programs

We’re seeking a dynamic HR & Payroll Assistant who possesses at least 6-12 months of recently gained exposure within a people management function and assisting in payroll administration. The successful candidate will require great IT skills, particularly in the use of MS Office products and ideally using bespoke T&A software. The role communicates across all departments of the business and the HR & Payroll Assistant will be a recognised and trusted member of the team, so great communication and delegation skills will be essential.
