We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pharmacist Manager to join our team. As a Pharmacist Manager you will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing patient care, and ensuring the safe and effective use of pharmaceutical drugs in the Cornwall district.The store is quiet and easy to run along with the support of 2 members of staff to assist the Pharmacist.

Duties:

- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently

- Review medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness

- Provide medication counselling to patients regarding dosage, side effects, and drug interactions

- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans

- Monitor patient health and progress to ensure optimal medication therapy outcomes

- Maintain accurate and complete patient records

- Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws, regulations, and standards

- Participate in quality improvement initiatives

Experience:

- Bachelor's or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution

- Current state pharmacist license in good standing

- Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred

- Strong knowledge of ICU medications and medication administration

- Proficient in anatomy and medical terminology

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to prioritize tasks and work when in a fast-paced environment

Schedule :

Monday - Friday 9 am to 5.30pm (1 hour Lunch time)

Saturday : 9am to 12pm
