Fabulous opportunity for an experienced or trainee lettings negotiator required for established Cornwall independent agent with great career prospects and covering the East / Mid Cornwall areas for lettings and take on of new rental properties with a competitive salary of up to £25,000.

A highly motivated lettings negotiator is required to cover our clients properties in East / Mid Cornwall but based in the St Austell office. The successful candidate will ideally have lettings experience or be looking to enter the industry and train and either have the appropriate professional qualifications or willingness to undertake training for them and to achieve ARLA. Your role will involve speaking to clients on the telephone, arranging viewings, carrying out viewings, all admin associated with creating, processing, and finalising lets, dealing with tenants, liaising with landlords and contractors to sort maintenance issues, carrying out property viewings, inspections and checkouts, and end of tenancy negotiations including administration regarding deposit returns and/or disputes. Serving notices, chasing rent arrears, and dealing with rent increases.

Key Duties will include:

  • Work with the other team members to optimize your branch’s performance
  • Ensure company standards are met and maintained
  • Deal with incoming inquiries about properties
  • Register applicant’s details and property requirements
  • Book and conducting viewings
  • General property administration so excellent admin and IT skills required
  • Negotiate offers between all parties
  • Be excellent at closing lets or instructions
  • Handle monies received
  • Use good organisational skills, planning and time management
  • Acquire local market knowledge

This will be a 5-day working week, in return our client offers a basic salary of £26-28,000 depending on level of experience. You will need your own car and they will pay business mileage. Call Fran Kent for details.
