  • Providing a high-quality service to older residents within a sheltered housing facility
  • Visiting the Scheme at least once a week, providing advice to residents
  • Dealing with tenancy issues and ensuring that communal areas are clean
  • Arranging maintenance and repairs in the communal areas
  • Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable groups
The Candidate should have:
  • Ability to reflect on working practices and provide ideas for improvement
  • Ability to work effectively with key partners to deliver shared objectives.
  • Experience of applying common sense to situations and the risks
  • Experience of working within the social housing sector or providing services to older residents
  • Demonstrable working knowledge and understanding of issues relating to older people and provision of services in the locality
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to maintain accurate records of information
  • Ensures customer insight data is captured and feedback is listened to and acted upon to improve services.
  • Ability to think ahead, to plan, prioritise and schedule activities to deliver organisational objectives.
  • Committed to delivering quality work and meeting deadlines, making effective use of available resources.
  • Ability to listen and communicate clearly and effectively.
  • Ability to assess the extent and scope of a given problem or issue and decide what action to take.
  • Motivational approach, inspiring and supporting others to achieve shared goals and build teams through effective communication, getting the best from others.
  • Due to the nature of this role, a full valid UK driving licence is essential.
