SEN Teaching Assistant

Are you passionate about Education? Do you enjoy helping children who need support? Do you have previous experience working with SEN or SEMH children? If so, look no further! Long Term Teachers is looking for teaching Assistant to work in Primary schools in the St Austell area.

Working as a SEN TA is extremely rewarding but also challenging. No day is the same. You may be supporting a student on a 1:1 basis, helping small groups of children or supporting the teacher with classroom activities. Our priority is to provide a safe and supportive learning environment.

Duties include:

  • Supporting the class teacher
  • providing 1:1 support
  • Helping with reading, writing and maths
  • have a good understanding on SEN
  • be adaptable and personable

Working with Long-term Teachers:

We are an independent agency working with Nurseries, Primary, Secondary and Special Schools.
